I ordered a book via Amazon Marketplace a few weeks ago. The book arrived swiftly and today, unprompted, I've received this email:
Hey Hilary,We're just checking in to see if you received your order (Imagined Worlds (The Jerusalem-Harvard Lectures) ) from Better World Books. If your order hasn't blessed your mailbox just yet, heads are gonna roll in the Mishawaka warehouse! Seriously though, if you haven't received your order or are less than 108.8% satisfied, please reply to this message. Let us know what we can do to flabbergast you with service. Thanks again for your support!Humbly Yours,Indaba (our super-cool email robot)
I'm not less than 108.8% satisfied. But it's a nice thing that they emailed me to check and I like that they've made an automated email service feel friendly, while still letting me know that it's automated.
Anyway, I believe that good service should feed its own recommendations, and on the basis that humble super-cool robots are always a Good Thing: I give you Better World Books, everyone.
